Doing a ADL to BDL conversion. I have a 700 ADl in .223. I got a stock (Remi take off) from here (on the Hide) and the bottom metal. It was a .308, I am building a .223. I have trimmed the internal mag about a 1/3 of an inch to mimick the .308, leaving the spacer from the adl intact. It still doesn't want to fit. This is just a coyote gun on a 700 adl I am doing myself. Anybody have any thoughts?
