Investing in silver

Fuck gold and platinum, as someone who's a silver addict the only advice I can give is buy, set on it for as long as possible, and sell. The price of silver an ounce does fluctuate a lot, but it NEVER takes a nose dive and you will not lose out on your investment. Recently sold these and made a nice profit! Holding 600 bucks worth of silver in your paws is a nice feeling! :D

Where do you get your silver? I’m looking to pick up some 1 oz bars to start

Unless you're suffering a vampire infestation and hand-casting, I'd say go with ammunition and components, instead.

The cheapest place to get silver is in rolls of coins. Buy rolls of 50cent pieces in the bank and go through them. If you find one great. If you don’t, it only cost you time. Get to know your local corner store counter guys. Tell them your a old coin and bill collector. Exchange any old hundred they have and tell them to be on the lookout for silver certificates and old coins. The hard part there is to get them interested enough to look out for it but treat them fair enough that they will sell it to you rather than save it. You can always buy at a pawn shop for spot price plus 5 or ten.

Place some adds saying you buy junk silver (old coins, etc) for spot without commission. I am sure you will get some sellers. Maybe even some bargains.
