Went to see a financial counselor today...what a waste of time.

FC: Do you drink?

me: Yes

FC: How much a day?

me: 3 six packs

FC: How much per six pack?

me: about $10.00

FC: And how long have you been drinking?

me: 15 years

FC: So 1 six pack cost $10.00 and you have 3 six packs a day which puts your spending each month at $900. In one year, it would be $10,800 correct?

me: Guess so

FC: If in 1 year you spend $10,800 not accounting for inflation, the past 15 years puts your spending at $162,000 correct?

me: Sounds right

FC: Do you know that if you hadn't drank, that money could have been put in a step-up interest savings account and after accounting for compound interest for the past 15 years, you could have now bought a Ferrari?



me: Do you drink?

FC: No



me: Where's your fucking Ferrari?

Ya, why don't you cut back to say 2.99999 a day and buy a box of bullets. Thats right they cost $162,000 and you can't find them. OK back to the 3 a day.
