Does anyone have a strong preference between the Wilcox RAPTAR lite ES and the DBAL D2? I have zero experience with either and have my first PVS 14 on the way. Any other one I should consider in that price range?

Well the only difference in the RAPTAR and the DBAL is the addition of a white light with the RAPTAR, what are you going to use it for?
I like both and think they are built well. However, I like the fact that the RAPTAR has a non visible IR Illuminator. The D2, if you look directly into the emitter, you can see a faint red hue. Almost like a red hologram or something. Just something to be aware of.
