There has to be some serious Stockholm Syndrome going on in the Muslim world, judging by just how many women are staunch supporters of the faith, and would willingly take any mental and physical abuse, including torture and death, that is dealt upon them with not even a hint of resistance. Even if a MENA woman decides to marry the most meth'd up and toothless trailer trash from Florida, or a bat eating, chain smoking and tar coughing and spitting construction worker from Guangdong, it would still be a major step up from what options that they have in their current world.
