Is a offset T1 helpful?

I am new to shooting bolt gun matches and have a question about offset optics. Has anyone found it helpful to have a offset optic of some sort on their precision rigs? I am considering adding a T1 to my NF with a TNVC mount but am not sure if its worth the money. My bolt gun is actually used as my do it all rifle/ match gun. I hardly ever even use my ARs anymore. What is everyone's opinions?

I use a JEC TLD(target locating device) with a Vortex Razor Reflex on my 6.5 Creed zeroed at 700 yards with a Vortex Razor 5-20, yes having a red dot offset can be a useful addition, but I have yet to really realalize it's usefulness, some shooters use them with great success, all I can say is YMMV.
