Is it just me or is the BBC series MI5 rabidly anti-American. At first I thought it was an intelligent, gripping well paced espionage drama but now it seems to go out of it's way to backhand the U.S., it seems that any mention of America, Americans, the CIA and all the splay-toothed Brits get this look like someone is waving a turd under their nose. Or they will sniff and go off as if it's understood that what the colonies need is a good dose of coercive, socialist, paternalistic nanny-statism.
