This is my sequence for reloading?
1. Tumble once fired factory brass
2. de-prime and Full length re-size
3. trim to length
4. de-burr flash hole
5. chamfer inside and out side of case mouth
6. clean primer pocket
7. tumble again
8. prime
9. drop powder
10. seat bullet

If I have something out of order, please let me know.

Jack

Re: Is my sequence correct?

You only need to deburr the flash hole one time. That's good for the life of the case. Instead of tumbling a second time I use lighter fluid on a cloth to wipe off the sizing lube. That way you don't have to pick the tumbling media out of the flash holes.

Re: Is my sequence correct?

Victor,
Thanks. I do use the imperial wax now, I have just been wiping it down with a rag. My thoughts on tumbling again was to get rid of any brass bits.

I read somewhere that alcohol works too to get the sizing wax off the brass.

Re: Is my sequence correct?

i just wipe with a damp cloth, and a dry cloth to remove wax.
instead of tumbling a second time, run a case neck brush inside the neck to remove any bits of brass, followed by
a quick puff of air, and an eyeball inspection works for me.

Jack </div></div> Same here. I use imperial wax and wipe off with micro-fiber towel when finished. No tumbling twice.

Re: Is my sequence correct?

I was in town Friday night, ate at Lesters Diner with the drunk people, last flight in and first flight out, that was the fastest out of town engine change ever, sorry I didn't call. Looks good, how are they shootin, nothing like seeing a bug hole from something you created.

Next Time! No excuses. I'm still trying to figure this out. As you can tell by all the questions. I did not blow myself or my rifle up. I got a chronograph from a friend to tell FPS, but at 50 yards my reloads went through the same holes as the factory AMAX rounds.

ALL thanks for the help.
