Rifle Scopes Is the Mil-dot Master a good range tool?

I bought a Bushnell ET6245F mil-dot FFP mil/mil. Would the Mil-dot Master be a good tool to keep in my range bag? What about any Droid apps that also might come in handy? I'm new to the mil-dot and mil/mil. Thanks for the help.

The MDM is a great tool for Range estimation. It's quick and doesn't require batteries.

However there are several free apps for Android that do the same thing. It's all about how you are going to use it.

I use the shooter app on my phone along with ballistic. I keep the MDM with me incase my batteries die.
