Is there a Rem 700 clone action for about $600?

Several folks have asked me if it is possible to buy a Remington 700 clone action for about $600? They do not want an actual Rem 700 action. Can anyone tell me if this is possible?

Not that I have seen. A trued rem 700 action is what that gets you..

Haven't heard of one man. Any 700 foot print action that's not a Remington is going to be more then $600.

Stillers are about the least expensive I've seen at $975 with the base from bugholes.com

Closest would be to buy a rem700 and buy a ptg one piece bolt with fluting/mini16 extractor etc and have it fitted. It wouldn't be a complete rem at that point and have a pretty smooth bolt with your choice of a few custom options
