I'm finishing a customer's .300 WM, 98K Mauser conversion.
He had bought CDI bottom metal for it years ago, but the problem is there doesn't seem to be a manufacturer of AICS pattern mags where the COAL is limited to SAAMI length or slightly more.
He gave me an AICS mag, but that's got a COAL of approx 3.64- and the receiver mag cutout is 3.46...
It's not a great idea to mill .200 off the feed ramp (although there's plenty of them out there where that's been done).
I've looked at Accurate and MDT, no luck. Is there such an animal?
