is it possible to put a 243 barrel on a la magnum, like neck down a 7mm to 243 bullet? If so what kind of twist rate would one want to go with?

You mean like the 240 Weatherby magnum and it´s likes, yes it has been done and yes you will learn to love to rebarrel or you will sell it on.

You mean like the 240 Weatherby magnum and it´s likes, yes it has been done and yes you will learn to love to rebarrel or you will sell it on.

Hold on partner, if you have a LA Magnum (0.532") bolt face, you cannot use (without a bolt change) a .240 Weatherby Magnum because it uses a 0.473 boltface, same as a 243 Win, 30-06 et al.

yes sorry about that i got overwelmed with free knobs, i sent out a shit ton of them and then started dealing with a custody battle bro so yah i put it off to the side until i get custody of my little girl, sorry i pissed on your parade of not getting a free knob but i decided that having my daughter full time would be a little more important than some one i dont know getting something for f#**king free. So in that time frame i got slapped with a bullsh*t restraining order saying i was violent and owned guns, I got rid of all my guns, went to court and got it dropped as i had proof it was b.s., filed my custody battle through a well known attorney here in oregon and now has been 3 months since ive seen my daughter or talked to her and her 2nd birthday is coming up,. So in short i have to say i havent had time for youre free bolt knob but i would gladly love to take time out of my day today to make you one and send it to you. Send me a pm with your shipping info and i will actually send you one so you dont have to whine about it anymore. Thanks, Brian
