Hey guys, anyone knows if AICS .308 mags can be used with another caliber? wich one?
I want to build a new rifle... I already have 4 aics .308 mags and a short action badger m5 dbm. Since I already own a .308 rifle I was considering another caliber (223 or 243 for example) and I was wondering if I can use the same mags.

I'm pretty positive that .243 will also work in those mags.

243 should work, 6.5 creedmoor definitely works, 260 Rem works, I am pretty sure 6.5x47 works, I think 6mmbr will work, 7mm-08 should work.

you just need to be mindful of you COAL.

Make sure you set it up to run 115 dtacs to get the most out of it.

i would think that anything with a .308 as a parent cartridge would work with the mags. as i have no experience with the mags its just idle speculation
