Couple things I see and time will tell if I am right or not:
1. $14M is not THAT much but it is hard to hold unless you have the appropriate mindset. If you don't, $14M wont go far. Ask any now-broke athlete or lotto winner.
2. That much money to the uninitiated can be a terrible curse upon the person and the family. His death may end up destroying others in his family in a strange twist of events. $20 says resentment, jealousy, manipulation and subterfuge are already in play within the group and it surrounds the potential to get at the cash.

Yes it did, men used to be strong-willed and stood for their country and believes, Women dressed properly knew they had to help the husbands. Kids played with real guns with zero incident, gas was cheap, politicians work for the people who voted them in office and not the other way round.

You bring up an important thought: what IS the nation's purpose? Not the government's, but the nation's. Part of the government's job is to protect the nation's purpose.

Anarchy isn't even a real thing. At best you can argue it's a temporary state just before the strong start ruling the weak by force. I would argue that there is no such thing as "absence of government", and that "anarchy" is a philosophical concept and not an actual political state, because upon the first interaction between people government is manifest. Agree with your points. I'm bringing this up for a reason: I don't think many people have really considered it in detail. The purpose of anarchy/socialism/communism is the stripping away of rights and essentially the servitude of the masses for the few. If the purpose of our nation is individual liberty (freedom of thought and action)for the masses then anything that limits that is counter to the purpose of the nation. This is a good North Star.
If individual freedom is the purpose of the nation then we have had serious problems for a long long time. It also means that Antifa/BLM and others should be resisted because they are going against our reason for existing - freedom of being. They are using the nation's reason for existing to engage in activities to make it extinct and thereby make individual freedom extinct. They have said as much several times. That to me is definable, provable and succinct enough to explain it to others that haven't thought it through.
However, I will submit to you that every person on the planet is free to think and act as they please. Everyone is free to stand up and die, even in slavery. No one is truly "unfree". Whether or not they recognize it is a different thing.
