I'll never understand how those guys can do that.......with such huge clanging balls to get in the way.
Stop-in at the church at Braddan for tea and biscuits, and don't miss a meal at the Port Jack Chippy.I love the TT, Watching In person is beyond words!!! We were posted up at Kirk Michael today...Great Super Bike race after a 45 minute delay with Dunlop getting the win! We got a great picture of the number 1, 2 and 3 running side by side through Kirk Michael on the first lap...at about 160 MPH!
Tomorrow, were headed up to Gooseneck to watch the next 2 races. Maybe hike up to Joeys Corner for the second race. Simply amazing to watch! Spectacular. Although pretty cold weather this year.
At practice yesterday, Mark Miller (fastest American) had a mechanical failure at Cronk y voddy and gave us a wave and some words while the course marshals pushed his bike off the course. Too cool!
Yup: Bacon Baps at the Creg. That was 2007, they year the mountain was open and every Sunday was Mad Sunday. It's on the straight toward Brandish. The sidecars get on the white line as they go past. I missed the TT this year as I won't be back until next month. Is that pic at the Creg na baa? Looks like a great day with sunny weather not a cloud in the sky, Epic!
After Mark Gardner made his DVD they limited entry. The TT is for pro license holders only. The MANX, in August, is for amateur racers. Some thing to do on my bucket list!
