SOLD ISO: NF NXS 2.5-10 - IHR

About once a year i buy a lottery ticket and post this ad hoping to get lucky...

Im searching for a Nightforce NXS 2.5-10x32, or x42 with the illuminated IHR reticle.

Someone has one tucked away in the back of their safe on a rifle they never shoot, right?

I picked up the 1-4x24 with IHR this week for $800.

Im guessing the x32 may command a premium and is certainly harder to find. The x42 will be in the middle.

Best guess is between $1000-1400 depending on condition and availability of original equipment, box accessories, etc.

If we’re being real a 34mm 1-8 Atacr is way more expensive but probably gives you all the capability of the 2.5-10x32 in a slightly smaller pack size.

X42’s are available in ebay.

I'd have no problem running the ATACR 1-8 if I could get one for $1200 instead of $24-2600...

Why is the IHR reticle sought after?

I've always liked a German #4 design for hunting, and the IHR is nicely done with center only illumination.

With it being a SFP scope I don't need all the modern reticles with 0.2 Mil holds and obnoxious illuminated Christmas trees.

This is going on a hunting rifle where shots will never exceed 300 yards.

2.5-10 with simple reticle is all I need.

They should re-release with FFP and an updated reticle. It would sell very well.
