Here is a write up of this years Israeli Defense Force International Sniper Competition. It was the first year to host international teams alongside Israel's elite Infantry, Reconnaissance and Counter Terrorism units. Instructors from the United States Army Sniper Course took 3rd, with United States Navy Seal snipers taking 2nd. Check out the article to find out who took 1st. If the IDF Ladies were around the Seals would probably Be out of the money. The IDF children are top notch hunters and they get an eye for an eye better than anybody in the World. They’d just as soon kill as look at you. Near or far don’t matter to them. I’d as soon have the Israelis with us as anybody else in the world bar none.
 
meh, they hav e been fighting for 70 years and are still surrounded by people attacking them. how good are they?

You make a great point sir as they have survived 70 years in a near landlocked position surrounded by hills. They take on all comers. Point taken. I still take them as an ally. Europe is Fubar and the French Germans and British have lost their minds. Europe will be a millstone around the Chinese’s neck. If I have my pick I’ll take the 6 pointed star to go with our 50 or 49. Commiefornia be damned. JMHO.

Israel is one of the most socialist countries in the world, probably the most socialist in the truest sense.

As far as allies, I dont want any, they always disappoint. always.

point of my post above is not a knock against Israel its a knock against the dick suckers who worship at the feet of the IDF, same crew does that with the seals etc etc. Myth an d reality are very divergent when you look at facts.

LOL! I remember coming back to the gator freighter one night, off "libo" while in Haifa. As I plodded up the gangplank in a half inebriated state, I feel the plank moving from someone coming down. I look up and come face to face with one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. Dark haired, blue eyed, petite...and toting an uzi. As a young Marine I was smitten. Cute girls..toting submachine guns. What more could you ask for? LOL! :love:

I’ll take em you you can have the French The Brits and all the rest. The Europeans are coming on as Socialists as is Cali and Canada. Differing ideas but we both want the same Thing. Trump was a blessing at the right time. Strong military and Good Economy. Still # 1 last I looked. I live in a different part of the world so I watch from afar just now.
 
I worked with the Israelis and with the British. The British seemed largely incompetent right up to when they flipped on the reality switch. I might have met one Israeli who’s company I enjoyed. The British were at least good company. Having allies allows for forward operating locations and the gift if foreign pussy for our military and Air Force. It may be one sided until you need it and don’t have it.
 
I'm sure glad the French were on our side during the revolution AJ. If they hadn't been we would still be speaking English .

I can name many times we needed the forward operating capability, however, can’t seem to find many that we weren’t roped into by an ally.
