Movie Theater It’s the season- what Christmas movies do you watch every year?

Die hard it isn’t Chris till I see Hans Gruber fall from that window and then Christmas story. My job keeps me away for a month at a time I have missed just about every holiday for the last 9 years so my wife got me the Christmas story on dvd so when I get home we watch it and open gifts.

Bad Santa is great (Badder Santa is funny too but not like the first) so is "A Christmas Story" (the "You'll shoot your eye out!" version, not Dickens!). That one's probably my favorite and I got my mother and her family into it too. That movie seemed like it was already a classic when it came out in the 80's. I got a Red Ryder BB gun the first year it aired I think! Hadn't seen the movie yet and that's EXACTLY what MY mother was saying all the time, "You'll shoot your eye out!" Then there were these old specials that used to air every Christmas back in the 70's and 80's, had Rudolph, the dentist elf, others, and those claymation specials really meant Christmas to me as a kid. They don't air 'em anymore. No more Saturday morning cartoons either and if Christmas was on a Saturday like 1982? Oh man. Trifecta baby. Kids get totally fucked out of their childhood anymore.

Cut cable off so I don't know where I'll see "A Christmas Story" this year. It's the only one I really wanna see. Some channels would play it over and over all day long (more recently) and I'd watch it and then let it play in the background the rest of the day. I may rent it on Amazon and do just that.
