IT collet die ?

I just got my IT collet die, & after reading the directions, it says I should have a little clearance between the bottom of the die, & the shell holder when set up in the press. My RCBS IV is too thick to allow this. I get a little clearance with the shell holder removed. As it is, I can't get enough force to fully size the base.
What should I do?

There are two ways you can do this. One is to back off the bushing screw on top of the press until you get the clearance you need. This is not as solid but will work. I've done that. The second option is to saw about 1/4" off the threaded portion of the bushing screw and you are good to go.
