Its illegal to ship firearms in KS according to a Fedex store in Leavenworth KS. When I asked "well how do they get firearms to the shops in this state?", she just said "I don't know" and was very snippity. She couldn't even give me the Fedex hub number.

Another prime example of why abortion is a tool that should be used more frequently.

call fedex direct....I had the same problem with the UPS store... it was a store policy ( I guess they are privatly owned)

Call Fedex direct and they will set you up or UPS direct.

Clearly she is not gun friendly and is part of the uninformed.

The individual stores around here won't accept firearms or ammo for shipment either. They informed me to bring the package for shipment to the area hub location. I have shipped multiple firearms and ammo with no issues doing this. Just call the 1-888 number and ask from where you can ship a firearm.

The UPS Store and The Fedex Store do not fall under the guidelines of UPS or Fedex, they're seperate entities and neither will take firearms, whether you have an FFL or not.

Go directly to the hub unless you have an FFL, in which case you can drop it via USPS too.

I pay my gunsmith $25 to handle this hassle for me. Life is too short.

It just pissed me off at how snippity she was after I asked about shipping a rifle and then how she wasn't willing to help by at least providing a phone number for the hub.
The UPS place was at least nice and provided locations and numbers for me.

UPS & Fed-X "Stores" can NOT ship guns because they have NO SAFE place to store them till they are picked up for shipment

when I drop off at UPS the box does not go to some "safe" place, it is handled like any other package, only thing they ask is no ammo with the gun

Yup I checked with the UPS store here local and they stated that it is not a UPS policy but a UPS Store policy as they are individually owed. The store claims it is a liability issue, however there are other UPS stores that do accept them. It is best to drop at the hub or create an account and order a pickup.

It DOES go into a secure room with locked doors and only certain UPS folks there have access.
Have the mgr. show you.

Long guns go USPS. Handguns go through a dealer. Keeps things simple for me.

you have to go to the main depot. I've shipped some crazy shit from there, in fact I refuse to deal with anyone else. One time i shipped my friends AK47 to him in WA, no dealers involved(held for him while deployed). I had contacted a local BATFE field agent though before hand. I had his name and num in case the supervisor had beef.
