Make sure you guys never take any of that chit forgranted. Right now there is nothing I want more than my own bed, good food, and to kiss my wife and son. I hope you all are enjoying the Christmas season.

I made a bunch of cookies yesterday and I'm gonna make a bunch more later today. They're going to Kuwait!

My wife has been cooking candy and pumpkin bread for the last 4 days. I think I gained at least 5 pounds just smelling what she was cooking. Her maple fudge just chases Maxwell House right out of the cup.

We're getting our first measurable snow fall of the season tonight. Everything is all frozen over and white. I just got in about 20 minutes ago. There are idiots driving 60 mph like the ice isn't there. Wrecks every quarter mile.
My wife has been cooking candy and pumpkin bread for the last 4 days. I think I gained at least 5 pounds just smelling what she was cooking. Her maple fudge just chases Maxwell House right out of the cup.

Secondly, last night we were over at the Outlaw's doing the same thing. Bit of a Family Tradition, to which nobody is immune nor excluded. We were ALL involved in a whole whackload of baking. To one extent or another.
And yes, it is times like these where one has a chance to amplify their thoughts towards family and friends. Especially when reminiscent of times past.
Excellent thread, and we won't deny that some of the Reindeer cookies were decorated a little "unorthodox" and somewhat 'graphically'.

Well, the various flavors of hard candy are superb, as usual, with the grape being my favorite...and the traditional Christmas sugar cookies are awaiting the frosting. A fair supply of both were squared away today.

That's awesome. My wife makes more cookies and cakes than I could ever eat in a year. She also makes the famous frozen family salad. We've even made some salt water pull taffey. She makes fudge, candy coated pretzels. And of course, all the big dinners.
