I got a Jewell trigger for my Rem 700P. The trigger came with 2 extra trigger springs. The owners manuals tells the weight range for the three different spring.

HVR (Hunting/Varmint Model) with:
a. Spring A: 8.0 to 56.0 oz.
b. Spring B: 2.0 oz. to 16.0 oz.
c. Spring C: 1.5 oz. to 3.0 oz.

Can anyone tell me which spring is which, by looking at them?

Re: Jewell trigger

Look at the diameter of the wire used to make the springs.
Spring C has smaller diameter wire, spring B next, and spring A has the heaviest.

If your eyes are not calibrated, compress the springs between your fingers, you can feel the difference.

Good shooting, Ron
