Jewell Trigger

I just had a jewell trigger put on my Rem 700 action. It's set at a pull weight of 1.5 lbs and that's where it breaks when I'm dry firing. But when I load a cartridge the pull weight is much more and it's also not consistent. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks for the reply. I went back and adjusted all three screws according to the instructions from Jewell and that fixed the problem.

I am also adjusting my trigger this morning, I just finished, it is hard for adjusting.
I never used Jewell trigger, and it is the last time I use that trigger.
Because the 3 screws are influencing each other, I set my trigger pull super light, It should be around 4 oz, the middle range spring and screw out until the screw and trigger shoe flat.
If I set less over travel, it will fire after close bolt.
And if I set less sear engagement, if rapid fire will make mistake fire.
So I put 1/8 turn more sear engagement than instruction said. And the other screw set it should be.
But if your trigger works right now, do not need to adjust again.
I have another Trigger tech diamond, which I love more right now. Less over travel and super ez adjust. Set as 4 oz, that is easy~
