Last week, I placed an order with Brownells for what I thought was a JP low mass carrier and high pressure bolt for my Mega 6.5 Creedmoor build. I get the package today and discovered that I actually screwed the order up and ordered the standard, enhanced 308 bolt. Non high pressure.
John with Keystone is going to invoice me for the correct one so my question is......I have a second Mega receiver set on the way for a 308 build and was wondering would there be any benefit to having a high pressure bolt for 308 or should I use the enhanced bolt I already have??
Just trying to figure out if I should return the one I have to Brownells?

I ran my 308 with the enhanced for 500 rounds and had no issues with it. Only switched bolts because the new JP barrel I purchased came with one headspaced.

So are you saying you'd get a new high pressure to use with the 6.5 and use the current enhanced with the upcoming 308 build? I'd probably do that. I have no first hand knowledge but I like JP's advancements in that area.

Side note-I was shooting at my club today-at the 200-400 range and John Paul himself was shooting at the 100yd range.
