A1 is 1924. Mom and Pops birth year. Hardest to find affordable.
Augusta and other rebuilds may have a1 parts on them. Got a couple of 1918 frame/slide/trigger/safety with A1 parts replacing worn out parts and all gray/green parkerized.
@j-huskey, it is a 5 digit. Not sure why I was thinking A1 was so early. I have been out of touch with my older guns the last few years.I need to get back into them as I think they keep me interested more than newer ones.
