I’m not sure where to post this, but this seemed a good place to start.
Just to be clear, I’m only asking for one line opinions, actually 7 lines ;-)
The picture is of the of the 7 calibres I shoot, made for me by Tony at Ballistic Concepts (https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/BallisticConcepts)
Tony made each one from the components I supplied him.
The board is just a mock-up at the moment to decide on how to display them.

When finished, alongside each calibre, I’ll have a laser engraved plaque with the calibre, bullet details and here comes the matter of opinion, its maximum range in yards.
I need to put a pin in “Maximum Range” and decided it is, IGNORING human factors and assuming an optimum load, the ability to hit a 2 MOA target 100% of the time at sea level, nil wind, ICAO temperature & pressures.
So, your opinions please on the following (it’s just a display, not a competition and don’t need a Thesis!)

1. 33XC with Badlands Precision 285gr ICBM-2 (G1 1.010)

2. 338 Lapua Magnum with Parker Products 300gr Aluminium Tip (G1 0.960)

3. 7mm Remington Magnum with Hornady 162gr ELD-Match (G1 0.67)

4. 6mm Remington with Barnes LRX 96gr (G1 0.436)

5. 22-250 with Sierra 77gr MatchKing (G1 0.420)

6. .17 Remington with Nosler 20gr Varmageddon (G1 0.183)

7. .22LR CCI Segmented Copper coated 40gr (G1 who cares!)

Thanks in advance
Jonathon

like the post above

maybe just run published velocities and BC with a ES of 30FPS (thats pretty good reloading)

so if the velocity is 3000 runit for 2985 and 3015...

run a bunch of scenarios through a ballistic calc and stop when it goes over 1/2 moa up and down from point of aim

figure at best 1 moa is attainable at the max supersonic range of a cartridge with a "berger" class bullet

so 1 moa + .5+/- equals your 2moa max ...thats your range

I know what you mean, I just need 7 opinions I think reasonable ;-)
I watched the YouTube of 7mm Rem Mag at 3030 yds on 60"x60" with two on out of ten but even in nil wind, I doubt 10/10 was achievable.

look at the competitions 10/10 at a 2moa plate past 1500...not happening
and thats with the big boys as well as the smaller 1 mile rounds300 normas and 338 etc

there will be some but not expanded to 100 out of 100 and such

Thanks, I take your point and it is true, but I did say ignoring human factors and weather.
I should have said "using a bench rest rail rifle in nil wind ICAO day at sea level"
I think I've been given the tools now to come up with some figures based on the theoretical world, not the real.

The result is still a SWAG but closest you'd get would be a WEZ analysis from:

You can get an idea what the tool provides here:
But the output is limited and you can't select 100% Probability

No idea if there are other free tools that do similar.
Thank you for the links (NOT). Spent a fortune buying the Media Bundle, Analytics and Effective Range of Small Arms Nook!
