MSRP on these was 2899.00 to 3300.00 when they were in production, but no-one paid anywhere near that. They also offer a 25% discount off MSRP for military and LEO, which got the factory direct price down to just under the street price.
The new street price was anywhere from 2149.00 for the standard version, up to 2659.00 for the Horus versions, depending on features and reticle.
Glass clarity is on par with the Nightforce ATACR and Vortex Razor Gen 2. Glass being subjective, some say it's better and some say otherwise. The US Optics glass is described as a having more natural image, where the ATACR glass has more color contrast with an image that "pops".
The B17 has a better field of view than the Nightforce or Vortex by about 15%, but as stated earlier, has some low magnification tunneling. The B17 has a 8.03' field of view at 17x, where the ATACR has a 6.9' field of view @ 16x.
US Optics explains in thier FAQ that the tunneling is a side effect of the erector design, and is the trade-off they opted to make for the better field of view at high magnification.

The B series toolless turrets are hated by many. It seems to be the part that has caused the most trouble and returns. I would recommend reading the manual and watching a few of the instructional videos USO puts on YouTube.

The B series is being replaced by the Foundation series, which returns to the older EREK type turrets.
According to a conversation I had with them last week when I pre-ordered a new FDN17, the Foundation series has a different spec glass than the older B series.
Hopefully the new glass is equal to or a step up from the B series glass. I'm taking a chance on the pre-order.
