Just got my new trainer Savage Mark 2

I took it out shooting today. I tried Federal Match that I had on hand and it sucked. The rifle shot better with Blazer bulk ammo. It averaged just under an inch at 50 yards. I will try better ammo when it becomes avaiable. I know this is way too much scope for the gun but I had it on hand from a previous AR build and was going to sell it and decided to put it on my trainer for now instead as its the same exact one as on my .308 bolt gun.

The Vortex isn't "too much scope" for the rifle... it is the wrong scope for the rifle just due to the parallax!
