Just Got This In An Email-Gun Insurance Company

We use collectables, for personal and business, but on this last statement, our premiums have doubled, we’ve never had a claim, don’t reckon it has anything to do with all the rioting and tearing shit up all year....

$405/year for $150,000 is rocking my premiums. I'm almost double that number, but if it's difficult to collect on a claim, that saving doesn't mean anything other than you're out your gun collection and they ain't never coming back...

Jerzey, is your beef with USAA just with the gun insurance part, or all of USAA? Just curious.
Use collectibles myself.
I got married recently, tried 2x (1 hour each) to add my wife onto my accounts with them. Took forever, they didn't, couldn't get it right. I was so %$#@### mad I decided it's not worth the problem. When I have an issue at Chase, I can walk in and talk to a person to help. USAA doesn't have actual branches to go to. They suck

My sister and brother in law had USAA. They told me that the homeowners policy seemed to be good, but the auto insurance sucked.

3rd party info, so take it for what it's worth.

Well, I can tell you straight from me, they SUCK. I cancelled everything with them, everytime I need to update of fix and issue it was a problem. I have better ways to spend my time than on the phone with them trying to resolve an issue.

Im just looking for a company to cover my gun collection.

Id be leery of them calling you i could be a little paranoid , but how would any know you own anything and would you really want them to know what you have sound like fishing scams .

I agree, but thats NOT what's happening here. I called USAA to update / fix issues and their customer service just sucks....enough for me to move all accounts with them back to Chase bank.

I've had USAA for about 15 years now. Best customer service I've ever had. When truck was stolen had a check in 48 hrs. When we got married my wife got an account and has no complaints. Have mortgage, car insurance, life insurance, homeowners Insurance, and all banking with them and never an issue. Sounds like you got the one idiot.

We have gunandtrophy.com insurance. Never filed a claim, but they are easy to deal with, don't require a serial number listing to be sent in, and they also cover taxidermy. Reasonably priced as well.

Company owner is a hunter/shooter.

Glad you had a good experience with them. This is not about talking to 1 "idiot" but a pattern of talking to many idiots. Their auto insurance is also not competitive in Nevada. At this point, they have nothing to offer me.

Should have added that we pay about $600 per year for just over $250,000 coverage. Couldn't find anything with a lower premium and the same benefits.
