Just ordered a new FNX-9, anyone have one yet, what's your thoughts?
I thought about the G19, or FNP-9, but found this one new in the box, for $499.

No real long term experience or anything.

My buddy picked one up used (and he doesn't know much about guns). We went to the range and it shot fine (as expected) but I noticed some very odd rubbing on the guide rod from the spring. Made me raise my brow.

I told him to call up FN but haven't talked with him about it since we shot last weekend.

I can't speak specifically to the FNX, but I ran an FNP-9 for quite some time and loved it. Great trigger, adjustable grip and accurate. I didn't care for the relatively high bore axis, however and sold it before putting it through a long term test. As posted above, my experiences with FN products have always been positive.

wow, i'm planning on buying one very soon.....but $530 is the BEST price i can find...where'd you get it for $499??

I have an FNP-9 that is fantastic. I would believe the FNX to be as good, and would not hesitate to order one.
