How long will the battery last ..and also which other parts will I need in order to install on my AR15 ? The one I purchased comes with a rail so do I just need to get the rings? thanks!

is a CR2032 lithium battery, Duracell are the best choice for replacements.

AT the highest setting a few hundred hours tops. Remeber unlike a red dot you have the etched reticle if battery dies. Also for long precision shots you will might prefer to not use illumination. You will need a AR height scope mount. Something like this. Lots of options but go with a one piece mount made for your AR
