Kansas paper was about to expose chief as sex predator

Eric is going to own the town.

I read another similar one today.

Another recent article that fills in the whole story as we know it so far- since this now involves the death of an old lady and a Brady list police chief I figured I’d give it its own thread instead of adding to the original updates are coming fast now 2-4 stories everyday and each one it gets worse and several days in the know criminals in the story are still not only walking free but are still working in law enforcement and as a judge .
Assault, wrongful death, maybe manslaughter, false statements, illegal warrant, deprivation of rights under color of authority , theft , trespassing, conspiracy. I’m sure anyone else doing all this would still be walking free and holding a city/county job.

That is quite the hunt they are orchestrating, while Trump is getting hundreds of millions worth PR and air time , still with so many indictments they are near certain to get something to stick.

If not with these, they will cook up another.

Is that how this works?

This is the criminal mastermind that chief of police Cody bravely tackled and wrestled a cell phone away from causing her to die.
We need men like this to restore law and order and trust . I’ll bet he’ll be a hot commodity after this jurisdictions across the country in a bidding war for his expertise leadership and heroism!

So return the stuff cause insufficient evidence of any crime ; unconstitutional warrants, theft and death . But all is okay, must be no one has been fired charged or arrested. Is there no state police in Kansas that arrest multiple felons when their crimes are on camera and pubic record?

Unlike the old days these stories move quickly. Just about an hour ago these illegally obtained illegally issued illegally executed warrants were “withdrawn “.

Sorry we lied and then destroyed your business and killed your mother /business partner we take it all back!

POS Judge is 100% to blame, the ignorant of the law cops don't know any better but the Judge should of known
better than to issue a search warrant.

Judge is absolutely to blame - so are the piggy’s - they made up the low of “identity fraud “ to get the warrant that they didn’t file the correct paperwork for . I’m Kansas it’s called affidavit of probable cause .
Made up crime , illegal warrants issued against a media outlet - Nope I’m no fan of main stream media outlets either , BUT federal law prohibits journalists papers/sources / equipment being seized by warrants, it requires a subpoena.
So plenty blame to go around -I place most on the thieves who stole shit and killed an old lady . I blame the thieves and murderers . Blue line thieves and murderers get no slack from me

Yes absolutely! Even if they get fired and go to prison they will be quietly hired back for 24 hours or however long to keep their pension valid .
And still retain hero status in the locker room for brutalizing a 98 year old woman!

If only there they got paid more and didn’t have to worry about laws or the constitution.
And assholes calling them out for killing old ladies on illegal raids - I’m sure they could do their job much better with no oversight questions or consequences!
If only they could beat steal and use dogs and water cannons with impunity once again and have the on dying support and blow jobs from the R’s . Fuck I bet they miss the old pre Floyd days .

The sad part is that was not an example of police misconduct. That was media fueled witch hunt. If you can yell I can't breathe. You can breathe. If you have a heart attack after fighting with police high as fuck on fentnyl. FAFO

If things were my way he would have already been excuted for the crimes he committed pre that arrest. Armed robbery rape and such.

Where’s dumbfuck ronws to say we aren’t offering solutions?

Make the public servants suffer the same professional/civil/ criminal penalties that the people who slave away to fund their salaries would face.

You were trying to insult me but you just offered a solution that could work. How cute is that?! I am so proud of you.

@Ronws cmon let’s hear your bs Baghdad Bob
I tried asking Wade but he did not respond. Have you two set a wedding date? Picked out the cake? Honeymoon? I hear Paris, France is lovely in the spring. Paris, Texas is nice, too.

I think, like in that other thread, you could get Maroon 5 to play at your reception. Or, Ed Sheeran. He does surprises at weddings, too. Think romance, you will not get those moments back.

Things are not looking good for the taxpayers. Looks like the document search conducted by the paper was legal and the sheriff knew it. The search warrant was signed by the judge but she never received an affidavit from the da. The affidavit was filed with the court days after the raid and then withdrawn because it was a legal search by the paper.
Back the blue!! Qualified immunity will get you a tax increase.

So wait are you saying that a large chunk of our taxes go to pay these people’s salaries and health care and pensions; but we “gladly” under threat pay so they can keep us safe and when they totally go off the rails in criminal activity and barbaric violence we have to pay for their legal defense and get hit with whatever lawsuits they have to pay out ?
After careful consideration and deliberation I’m a bit skeptical of backing said blue .

So, quit backing the blue. Quit paying taxes. And when the IRS comes after you for an audit or even jail time, like Wesley Snipes, just tell them they are working for the evil overlords. Do you what your conscience tells you to do.

I’ll just keep pushing for accountability among the States many employees.
Offering good to great public service wouldn’t be that hard if the thieves liars sex perverts wife beaters and those with distain for the peon are forced out .

There are multiple State level LEA’s. The Kansas Highway Patrol and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation are the biggest two. They have very different missions. The KHP doesn’t generally do non-traffic investigations. The KBI has an investigation ongoing, with this incident. They tend to be slow and cautious. Hopefully, they come to the correct conclusion and have the proper support, when their investigation is complete.

Don’t know how much of an investigation any Kansas law enforcement would have to do the crimes are all on video , and now there is no warrant - not just an illegal improperly obtained one but none at all there is on color of authority, no qualified immunity. Send them to jail and make THEM pay for the incoming lawsuits .

Every person involved should be investigated. You can’t blanket throw an entire group in jail for what was likely crimes of a few.

The lower guys on the totem pole likely acted in good faith - they likely had no way of knowing the warrant would later be redacted and it was illegally obtained.

Contrary to popular belief, well done investigations take a lot of time. It’s better to err on the side of caution and create a case that’s hard for the defense to beat than to rush to appease the public and lose it all, at trial.

I will repeat my statement (based on my dated experience) that the KBI works very slowly. I care a lot less about how quickly it gets done compared to it getting done correctly.

With all that said, it appears it’s impossible for a few people to not end up incarcerated. This is one of, if not the biggest black eyes Kansas law enforcement has brought on itself. Very shameful.

Well thought out and respectfully stated ; the problem I have with long investigations is one things tend to disappear with time ; the other and main problem is during this long investigation period will these criminals and thugs still be on the cities/counties/states payroll will full arrest powers ? Most likely so and that will allow them time to manage their stories AND “asset forfeiture “ a hole bunch of innocent folks to pad their “retirement “

Here is the most current info on this shit show as it stands today.

Drunk judge - illegal warrants, sec pervert chief - knuckle dragging fucking retard cops - old lady dead , business ruined , rights shit on .
This will be the motivation porn they show at the academy from now on

I doubt there’s much evidence in this case to disappear, but you’re right it can be an issue, in general.

I haven’t heard what their current status is. I have seen most of the time people get put on paid or unpaid leave (depending on a variety of factors). With the Chief being one of the people being investigated, the City would have to make the call and do the process.
