Karsten on a Manners?

I need a cheek rest on my Manners stock. I ordered a Karsten, but now I am wondering about the wisdom of drilling my Manners. Am I over thinking this?

I'd send it to Joe Ducos (Stockdoc here on the hide) and have him mod the stock for KMW adjustable cheekrest hardware before I drilled holes for a saddle-type cheekrest. Joe does great work and is a really good dude too!

I drilled my EH1 for a slip-over style cheek riser. No ragerts. Much lighter than installing a KMW or similar type adjustable hardware.

I drill em all! No issues.

A little bedding material and paint, and you will never know the holes were there.
