Found a good price on a kestrel 5000 which says it will give DA which is mostly what im looking for, a accurate way of locally measuring da and wind speed. My question is, has anyone used it and if im not wanting the balistics calculator of the 5700 but just the environmental data with density altitude, is the 5000 what i want or is there more to the 5700 that i want but dont know it? Being double the price makes the 5700 a hard sell but im curious. Thanks in advance, noob just trying to learn and grow.
