KESTREL 5700 ELITE

Have recently purchased 5700elite .Has anyone else had to constantly set the time after unit has been stored.

Make sure the correct battery type is chosen in the menu for what you have installed. It can do some really screwy things if that setting doesn't match.

Had to have software/ firmware updated.

I just checked mine and it was only off a few seconds from the last firmware update.
