i have a case or 2 of prime 77 gr match 223,,, looks like they don't sell it anymore, only 55 gr now. i was trying to create a ballistic profile in my kestrel, hoping that it was a bullet in the litz library. if i just new what bullet it was, i could check. says 77gr HPBT, any thoughts?

I would just use the 77 smk as a starting point, then true the bc at distance if you know the velocity to be true from a magnetospeed or lab radar.
Brand new offering from Magtech. I have no idea how this stuff works, but a box of 50 ought to answer a lot of questions.

Yep use the 77 SMK BC and a chronograph for velocity to get your starting point, then verify data out to at least 600 yards against your scope clicks/reticle hold to come up with a final table. The SDM/MK12 WS and Mk262 ammo is described as having an effective range of 700 meters. Everything has to be just right to get a high hit percentage at the end of its limits.
I have shot the CBC 77 gr OTM stuff for a while now.... and Magtech owns/operates CBC. My guess is the Magtech ammo is just the CBC ammo with a different package. I like the price of the CBC ammo over the BH's price.
