kestrel wind meter 3500 vs 4000

Hey guys I'm looking for a wind meter and I saw that kestrel had some good reviews. But now I don't know which one to get. Should I get the 3500 or the 4000. Any help will be appreciated.

I have used a 4000 for over 10 years now and has served me well fishing, hunting and at the range. Never used a 3500 but either way you won't go wrong with Kestrel.

I have used a 4000 for years but the 3500 provides the same information. The only difference is the ability to download info and view graphs over a set time. If you plan on keeping and graphing data go with the 4000. If you just want to measure conditions for a specific time, go with a 3500. When I purchased mine the selection was rather limited. Now they have a number of different options.

I would choose the 4000 as it has DA and the 3500 doesn't.

I chose the 3500NV model because i dont need graphing data. Love mine, it's super sweet and there is a deal hear on the forum for new 3500 for $160 I picked up mine practically new for $130 here.

I have the 4500 and it is the bee's knees

I'd go with the 4000 as it has DA.

Well it looks like I'm getting the 4000. Now I got to see who has it cheaper. Thanks guys
