Kimber Mtn Ascent in a Kimber Montana stock.
I bought the Mtn Ascent rifle new with the opti-fade rubberized stock, and found somebody who wanted to trade for a Montana stock. I don't consider the Montana stock an upgrade or downgrade, but better for me and better looking in my opinion. Seems like Kimber would do well to offer more options with stocks.
For me this rifle performed exactly as I've read on the reviews - 3 to 4 shots in a really impressive sub-moa group, then things get a little western until you cool it down. This is truly a rifle to be carried a lot, shot a little.
Swarovski Z3 3-10 x 42 scope. BRH Bullet drop reticle. Talley one pc light rings.
Best new prices I found with a quick search for this setup is $1750 rifle plus $800 scope plus $50 rings = $2550 plus shipping for all three.
100 rounds fired.
