Gunsmithing Knight's Armament URX RAS

I have seen that the Knight's Armament URX RAS will only fit on a DPMS and not an Armalite? Is there a way to do some work to get it to fit on an Armalite or is it completely out of the question? What is it on the rail system that makes it incompatable with an Armalite platform?

Eddy,

The URX screws directly on the upper receiver barrel nut threads, which are different for the Armalite and KAC/DPMS .308 platforms.

ok. so is there no way to mod any of it to get it on there?

For OEM nothing comes to mind that would be as robust as originally designed. Perhaps one o the aftermarket manufacturers currently making .308 uppers wold make a run of AR10 receivers with KAC/DPMS threads.
