Is there anyone else here watching the nationals besides me or is everyone watching it on TV. It was a wonderful 800 mile drive so I can enjoy the heat and humidity but the racing should be awesome.

Clarksville has the Late Models and Mini Sprints(600cc Yamaha motors) and Open Wheel cars along with the little four banger entry level stuff. I wish they had Outlaws though. I love the loud ass V8's with all those wings and don't mind the occasional pirawets when one of them hits the wall and the driver walks away.
Need to get out and see those and the local drag racing, maybe see what the Sporty will do on the track

They have grape ,strawberry ,almost anything you can think of.
used to use cherry in my street car(ran e-85/alcohol mix) just enough to keep octane above 105. Miss my car ran 9.45@145mh in quarter on street (HOOSIER) tires and flowmasters.

I used to build engines for several of the outlaws... really just did the cyl. heads and injection manifold (porting and such) but I did assemble my fair share. Had one of our drivers killed in a crash up there a few years ago, He set a record and crashed on his next lap. RIP #88

I ran the Central Pennsylvania 410 Sprint Car circuit for 7 seasons. Including the Outlaw shows at Williamsgrove, Lernerville and Grandview. Nothing like 850+ HP in an 1100 lbs. racecar.(The weight rules weren't in place when I was racing. The costs to save a few ounces got out of control.)Here is a shot of my Eagle chassis with a Kriner Aluminum 410.

Gotta love 1200+cfm 4x2 EFI/MFI intakes. They rock the world with their sounds. Nothing beats the sounds of a big block Ford or Chevy, or one of the 351 Fords/350 Chevies with that old school MFI Hillborne.
Got to make a call today on the MS103 I am waiting for. Maybe get some root beer scent to rock it at the intersection..."WTF, I don't see any A&W around here!!!"

You really need to get to one of the tracks out that way and see the German Touring Car series run. Mercedes and BMW V8's kicking asphalt's ass has to be a good time especially running alcohol fuel

Very awesome night of racing last night, couple cars got together and some pretty spectacular crashes but we were very fortunate everyone walked away. Three more nights to go.

Oh for sure I have been to the "ring" a few times and I am going to see WRC in Trier which is called the oldest city in Germany... next weekend but there is nothing like going to the local tracks where you know people and smell that alcohol! Good times for everyone!
