If comifornia can sue the oil companies for climate change then people who lost houses due to forest fires should be able to sue comifornia for negligence since the people are paying taxes for the state to maintain the forests.
The government would step in and do some tyrannical BS. Also, most businesses don't have the balls to make a point and accept financial loss.
