So I'm in the market for my 1st pair of higher end binos. These are going to be primarily for hunting purposes here on the east (Timber, brush, mixed woods, and open fields). Mostly in the 100-800 yard range.
However they will also go out west with me on big game hunts every few years. Narrowed down to the 32-33mm due to size and weight. Im still going back and forth between 8x or 10x.
Anyway, Doug at camera land has me leaning towards the Kowa Genesis Prominar. However, i have run across a few really good deals on demo/open box leica ultravid HD plus for a smidge more.
Just looking for opinions or suggestions from anyone with first hand experience with these. I have checked every store within a few hours drive and can't find either to get my hands on myself! So going solely off of recommendation and opinions here.
Thanks guys!
