I have a howa 1500 in the KRG bravo chassis. When i use the MDT 10 rnd mag that came with it i have zero feeding issues but when i use standard AI mags i get lots of feeding issues. Anybody having similar issues or any recommendations on modifications to AI mags to improve feeding?

Explain feeding issues...I was having problems with a Tikka in a bravo with AI mags. I opened up the feed lips on my mags a bit and problem solved. Ran smooth with no issues after than.

Feels like the rounds nose dive as they are being fed out of the mag and get jammed up half way into chambering.

I just used some pliers. Put a towel or cloth of them so they don’t scratch up. It doesn’t take much. Go slow. Open up a little on each side then test.

I've heard several stories of mags needing a slight modification to run smooth in different scenarios. Just got to figure out what exactly needs to be done.
Thanks, I've been messing around with them bending a little, and cycling my dry fire ammo, bending some more and doing it again till they feel right.

I watched a video from mpa one time where they showed that in some cases a tiny bit needed to be filed off certain mags but even that would vary from rifle to rifle of identical spec. Custom builds gonna be custom builds. It's the life.

If bending the feed lips doesn't give results I'll give that a try.

On my Rem 700SA and Tikka Bravo's the trigger guard/mag latch is adjustable fore and aft and impacts how the mag seats in the well.
KRG recommended MTD mags for my Tikka.
