Took my rifle out yesterday with another hide member, I have a AI .308 mag I’ve been using with it, under recoil after about firing 3 rounds the magazine releasing from the mag catch and drops a little. The mag is snug in the well, so it doesn’t drop completely out of the rifle, but does drop enough to not let me put another round in the chamber when I cycle the bolt. I checked, then double checked and then had Brandon insert the mag and make sure it was seated with the same result. Anyone have any advice or recommendation?

The screw that retains/tightens the mag release in the chassis has to be at the correct tension, otherwise what you're seeing will happen. I had to try different screw tensions, then found the one that gave slight mag movement when inserted, but kept the mag in place well enough to feed properly. I also do not tighten the rear stock screw behind the tang very tight. I tightened it more than recommended, and the trigger would not release. It's just a matter of setting those right.

I can’t tell from your post if the mag is releasing or just dropping lower but still held by the mag catch. My 10round mag sat lower to the point that it wouldn’t feed so I opened up the mag lips and it feeds good accept for the 1st round when it’s full (10). That one is pretty tight.

I have a couple Bravos (Tikka actions) and run AI mags in them. For me I followed KRGs instructions exactly as they are written and torqued everything to spec. I recall that you have to pay particular attention to the part where they talk about adjusting the fore-end for mag tension.
