KRG Bravo/TL3 Long Action Question?

Hi there!

I'm exploring the idea of getting a LA TL3 and putting it in a KRG Bravo.

I'm a minimalist so I'm thinking about using it to interchange barrels to use .308 or 6.5CM or PRC (understanding I'd need different bolt heads) and then in long action use the 300 PRC.

I guess the only issue I'm having is the issue of magazines. I'd like to be able to use my ARC magazine for .308/6.5CM, a WSM Magazine for 6.5PRC and then whatever AICS Magazine for the 300PRC.

Does the spacer included allow me to do that?

I found it here.
This might sound like a stupid question but I was looking at the https://kineticresearchgroup.com/product/r7la-mag-spacer/

If not, any suggestions on how to achieve this?

Thanks!

That spacer only takes up the space from the 3.850" mags to use the 3.715" mags. It'd be a better option for a 6.5PRC/ SAUM and 300prc but unless they (KRG) changed the design, you'll have to take the handguard off (8 bolts) each time you want to barrel swap and use a different mag. Trying to use short action mags adds another variable in the mix and added complexity by needing so many different mag sizes.

You could probably get it to function with 30-06 mags, 300wm long action mags, and lastly .300wm CIP mags.

Or if you're feeling spendy and don't mind the weight, contact Cadex as they used to have mag sleeves. What options it gives you as far as chassis compatibility is a question for them. It may be proprietary for their systems.

The only other route to do what you seek is by going with an AI, Barrett, Desert tech, or a Cadex or just have two different rifles.

Not for nothing, but I think you would be better served buying the TL3 SA and the bolt faces you desire. You can shoot all the short action calibers you mentioned and the 223 to practice. Then, if you still have the magnum bug, you can shoot the the 7 Saum or 6.5PRC with the SA and have a very versatile set up. I have all the bolt faces for my TL3 SA and use them accordingly.

Something I'll have to consider then.

I already have a TL3 SA, but I was hoping to have just one action and thinking that a long action might be better for this purpose.
