So I have a KRG enclosed fore end on the way and am wondering what height rings I need to be able to run a thermal clip-on as it looks like The rail on the fore end sits higher than the rail on the action would as well as their vague description of the rail that states:"No need for ultra-high or AR-15 rings with this one. For those who are fans of AR style tube fore ends on bolt guns, this will provide the function and form that you prefer but in a way that is more properly set up for a bolt gun."
Any one have one on a Tikka that could measure the height difference?

It’ll still be the 1.4-1.5” rings typically used. The enclosed forend is just cut out to be able to run “some” scopes closer to the barrel vs other enclosed forends.
