I have an MPA with a Tikka in 260 and I am running ARC and MDT mags in the gun. I have problems with feeding. If I load the magazine with 10 rounds on the ARC magazine and I can run it pretty smoothly with live ammo. The minute I start running a rounds down range, the rounds get jacked up.

My question is for people that have ran both, is there one more finicky than the other.

Feed lip adjustment
Mag catch height maybe too

I've had some mags that run flawless in one and not in another. Same brand. Just small differences between individual mags. They arent exactly precision machined pieces of art

Any new mag I get I sit in my basement and mess with until it feeds perfect. Sand the lips smooth then start adjusting them until the round enters the chamber just right. You may get lucky and have 3 mags out of 10 that work perfect out of the box. Once they're set for that cartridge you don't really have any issues.

My isssue is that while shooting the recoil is causing the loaded rounds magazine to move forward in the magazine. Then once I feed it pushes the round down.

Tweak the front of the feed lips so the front can rise. They're keeping it too low and diving the nose. Should pop up to ready as soon as the bolt runs back.
