I only wore these pants a few times. Great pants - but too warm for my SoCal climate. These pants are like new, no wear marks - except that the knee pads bothered me being stiff, and since my left knee was most often down (bent), I tried to relieve the stiffness in the pad with some careful slits in the pad. These do not go through the pants into the inside. They improved my comfort with no loss of padding function (see picture). I was going to do the right knee, but never got around to it.
