I’m have a hard time getting my Radar to pick up my .22 as well as my suppressed. I was going to pick up a microphone trigger to fix this issue. My question is can I use any jacked microphone instead of buying the $50 one?

I set mine for pistol, and set the projectile offset to 6 inches. I also place the muzzle about 1”-2” from the labradar. No problem reading 22lr.

Suppressed 22? I haven’t tried that but my suppressed centerfire I set the Labradar 6” in front and 2” off to the side of the muzzle with the sensitivity all the way up.

I can't speak for 22lr, but for suppressed centerfire I highly recommend the recoil trigger developed and sold by @wildmanpiet here. I have the microphone from Labradar, but I never use it anymore after getting the recoil trigger. There are several threads discussing it if you search.

Cant help with suppressed, but for rimfire setting the speed to Pistol and the trigger to Doppler works for me.

Never misses a shot with it positioned for the minimal blast from a can forced to hit the radar in front of it.
For bare muzzles and brakes you can move it a bit more out of the blast but with a can this makes it miss proof.

I have used the trigger that LabRadar sells and it works, as mentioned set to pistol.
