Does the outside air temperature have a big effect on ladder testing.

Lets say (like I did this weekend) I did a ladder test at 18F. Would the test change at say 70F

I know POI will shift with temp but will this skew the load development or would the results be the same and show you what loads group together based on powder weight.

Depends on how temp sensitive the powder is.
The results may only be valid when temps are close to the conditions you run the test in.
I think that if you chrono the shots, you could adjust the charge in warm weather to compensate for the change in power until it matches the MV of the node(s) you discover running the test in the cold. You should still be in the node then.

Make sense?

My uneducated guess would be that the powder you are using will determine how much effect temp has on your test.
I use OCW and have never really done a ladder test.
